Tigran Sargsyan, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), congratulated Ursula von der Leyen on her election as President of the European Commission.
The congratulation highlights: “I am confident that your extensive experience and knowledge will contribute to the strengthening of the European Union and stimulate the development of integration processes throughout the continent”.
Tigran Sargsyan expressed his hope that the technical dialogue between the European Commission and the Eurasian Economic Commission launched in 2017 will be continued and deepened. “There is a great potential for developing mutually beneficial relations between the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union. We are looking forward to build-up open and trusting relations on topical issues of the economic agenda”, – stressed the Chairman of the EEC Board.
